My BeachBody Story….As a Massage Therapist and Reiki Master Teacher, I believes we must have a Body, Mind and Spirit approach to optimal health. At 40, I was at the best shape of my life, mentally, physically and spiritually even thou I was still a smoker at the time. I was tending bar, keeping up with my property, fairly clean eating and overall good health.

I changed my career path in April of 2007, went back to school for massage therapy and started doing construction work to make the bills. In April of ’08, I had just gotten my massage therapist license, when I hurt my back! If that wasn’t bad enough (massage therapist with a bad back ugh) I went down hill that winter with breathing problems, I felt my life was over. Steroids, 2 inhalers and a hand full of meds, I thought I was dying.

After gaining almost 60 lbs, doing massage was going to kill me even thou I loved it, I knew I had to get control of my health! I had quit smoking, threw out one of the inhalers and slowly got of the meds, mindful eating and light yoga helped me get on the right track. I finally noticed my healing and some weight loss progressing in the spring of 2010.

In October of 2012, I did a sugar challenge with a BeachBody coach, Michelle D’Ambra, that was a real eye opener for me, I FELT so much better! The tools she gave us was just what I needed to see where I was not eating enough good calories, carbs, proteins and was eating too much sugar (including naturals) that was causing me to crash and giving me the shakes.

At 47, I started working on being in the best shape of my life with the added plus of not being a smoker. I know its never too late to get your health back and I want to help others with this program, like my coach Michelle has helped me. Thanks to my BeachBody Challenge, Support System and Tools that they provide, I now have a strong core with no back problems, lost 25 lbs in 3 months and have found a wonderful meal replacement in Shakeology.

Contact me about finding the right program for you.

Bright Blessings on your Journey to Better Health,
